1972 , lot of arguments over this. Supposedly 400 built, again no written proof. in 1972 Fords had white hard plastic wheels, Jacobsens had black hard plastic. Olivers had soft rubber wheels like the 1973 and up models. SO??? There ya go. Who really knows.
The tractor i built that ruffled some feathers in the GT community. Long story, but there is a reason i used a CLOSE side instead of a open side. A sort of " what if?" kind of thing.
1972, again no written proof. Supposedly only 100 made. Only sold in CANADA, again who knows for sure, 100%
Never existed in production. Maybe a concept tractor? I was told they did make 1 for concept show. Again no paper work to back it up or photos. Anyone can make a clone. Besisdes it would have been awesome! Very nice tractor by the way.
Anyone out there who is upset about any of this information i have displayed, do not get mad. Send me the correct information, from a written source. Like WHITE motor corp. I have tried to gather information, with no results. So please, its only going to help the hobby. I have nothing to gain here, just trying to help.
OK, Folks this is how this will work. If you have an Oliver Garden or Lawn Tractor, and you want to submit it, awesome. If you dont, thats fine too. What we will need, Photos. Photo of the tractor, and more importantly, a photo of the I.D. TAG. We will need your name town, state or province, or country. Now if you dont want your name posted, that's fine we will use initials, or a location. Defeats the purpose, but that's your right.
Now here is where it gets fun. I know there is fake tractors out there, i know screenshops, can reproduce ID TAGS. So look at the photos above, Original, hard to argue. So if yours doesnt have a ID TAG AND NUMBERS, not doing anyone much good. Sorry. This register is for fun. This is a Hobby. Remember that. It does separate the fakes from the originals. Its online for everyone to enjoy. Just send all your information to my email through the site.

SERIAL NUMBERS STARTED AT #1601
SO IF 400 GREENS WERE MADE? AND 100 REDS? AND, THEN THROW THE "LT" models in....WE HAVE 500...SO PUTS US AT #2101, if that is true, might have been only 400. Who knows for sure? IF you do, by all means contact me! We do know that it started at #1601. So lets see what happens. Whats funny is this is a great checks and balances, and everyone can see it. THIS REGISTER IS NOT intended to make people mad or "STEP ON THEIR TOES", and it will only work if we submit our machines.
You provide information, with a paper trail, Photos, etc. You will receive the recognition, look through the site. I put there names under their photos, when they want.(again copyright laws)
These are original sales documentation (next section below)from a Dealership. Not sure which one but are from a trusted collector in Florida.
Yes Olivers were only built in one year 1972.
But the the date you see is a sales date. NOT MANUFACTURE DATE!
Olivers were not a big seller! It literally took 6 years to move them off the show room! So maybe you know of the original owner or are one, please drop me a line i would love to hear form you.
